AAAAAAARRRRROOOONNNNNNN!!!! Adolf, A-dawg, Speeeeragg. First off, GO BISON. Secondly, I hope your lips aren't too chapped over there at Lippy...
Aaron and I met in ninth grade in math class with good 'ole Mr. Koch. I know what you're thinking, "How did Kate make a friend in class if she never attended?" Don't worry friends, I was still young at this point in my life and ergo had nowhere to go due to the lack of license and car. Anyway, Aaron and I became friends over the year thanks to some double dating and the fact that we were both awful at math. We had a year or two where we weren't as close, but when senior year rolled around, Jesus brought us back together and solidified our friendship in Him. Getting Aaron to do rebellious things with Jordan and I was almost more fun then actually doing the rebellious act as we used the power of persuasion and dangled free Panera Bread in his face in order to convince him. He always had fun though, despite the amount of trouble we got him into.
When you first meet Aaron, he will more then likely be in gray sweatpants, a different shade of gray hoodie and some bedroom slippers. Don't be fooled by thinking he is having an off day and that he is sick or tired; that is dressed up for him. I guarantee he will have a water bottle with him and please disregard his seemingly shy personality because after about a week, he will no be shy anymore. Alright, aside from all of the silly reasons I love Aaron, the real reason is because of how beautiful his heart is. Jesus has done, and is continually doing absolutely incredible things through him and he is such a bright light for the Lord no matter where he is. I love being around him because a smile is guaranteed to be plastered on my face and every word that comes out of that kid's mouth is gold!
I have learned a lot from Aaron over the years: how high I can turn up the radio without him turning it back down, what the appropriate time span is before kissing a boy after meeting them (which I hope has changed since ninth grade), how to play guitar hero, when his birthday is (March 8), why Rocketman is and will forever be one of the greatest movies ever, how to wop, but most importantly, how to be a great friend. Aaron has this unique ability to love people more and more each day, regardless of how they treat him. It is inspiring to see the way he never gives up on people and how he lives each day happily, in third place. He never puts anything or anyone before his creator, and never puts himself above others. A-dawg, you truly amaze me. I have loved watching God use you everywhere that you go; remember how much He adores you. I love you forever.
